As added value for our clients, Southern Research's veterinary program ensures a highly interactive and dynamic relationship between veterinary staff and study directors. Southern Research's Pathology Services consist of an experienced team of ACVP board-certified veterinary pathologists, ASCP-certified histology and clinical pathology technicians, and AALAS-certified necropsy prosectors involved in the evaluation of pathological changes critical to the assessment of acute, subchronic and chronic toxicity studies. The Pathology Services team members have an average of 16 years of industry experience.
The Clinical Pathology Laboratory uses state-of-the-art equipment that is capable of high-throughput testing and is configured to run species-specific testing. Throughout Pathology Services, all data is collected electronically using Provantis.

Southern Research offers new inhalation toxicology capabilities to assist the client in the evaluation and development of their products. Our scientists have the experience and knowledge to conduct standard and novel inhalation toxicology studies. We will work with the client to develop protocols to meet study objectives and requirements using state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. Our scientists offer experience with exposure of multiple animal species to gases, vapors, and aerosols through various inhalation routes. We specialize in the delivery of difficult to administer compounds and the development of novel inhalation instrumentation and techniques.
