Recent Poster Presentations

Southern Research has recently developed a custom-designed, cylindrical head-out plethysmograph for nonhuman primates. Plethysmography data, collected in real time during inhalation challenge, eliminates the need to estimate pulmonary minute ventilation using empirical formulas. A poster presented by Southern Research at the Aerobiology in Biodefense III conference in Cumberland, MD in July 2009 demonstrates the procedures and methods developed by Southern Research to calibrate and verify the calibration of bioaerosol instrumentation.
